Before founding Open Path, Jeremy spent four years at Lumeca, where he spearheaded product development for a cutting-edge virtual healthcare platform, emphasizing SOC 2 compliant AWS infrastructure. Prior to that, he dedicated eight years at GasBuddy, a pioneer in consumer apps for tracking retail gas prices, during the smartphone revolution. There, he developed the APIs and back-end systems that powered the GasBuddy app. Jeremy's extensive experience covers web and mobile development, product management, and cloud infrastructure, making him the ideal leader to drive innovative solutions.

Mike began his career as an Industrial Engineer, earning his P.Eng, and racking up 7 years of process, project and plant management skills. He transformed his path by travelling the world and mastering software development on his own. After a successful freelance software career, he returned home to Saskatchewan and joined Cova, a leading point of sale and compliance system. At Cova, he was a technical leader who drove the digital transformation of the mobile point-of-sale app and optimized highly available sales and ordering systems. Today, Mike is an application architect, partnering with government agencies on digital transformation projects.

As a seasoned data scientist and data pipeline developer, Veronica has delivered AI solutions across finance, energy, and retail. She has built systems ranging from real-time fraud detection to an LLM- and agent-powered platform enabling natural language data querying. Before collaborating with OPP, Veronica was a Data Consultant where she worked on a range of projects, including leading the backend development of an Agentic-AI web application that streamlined sales opportunity discovery for a US-based retail company. Her expertise covers the full data pipeline, from data ingestion, transformation, model development, to cloud deployment. Driven by a passion for solving meaningful problems, she thrives on collaborating with teams to uncover challenges and delivering solutions that advance organizational goals.
